In Chapter One you found out about the kinds of people who use the Internet and what it's all about. Listed below are links to a few Web sites which tell you even more about the Internet.
The facts and figures about the Internet and its users are constantly changing. The Web sites listed will help to keep you up-to-date.
Click on the name of one which interests you and it will appear on your screen. You can move on from the first page which arrives simply by clicking on the hyperlinks. Remember links to other pages will probably be coloured and underlined.
By clicking on the "Back" button at the top of the screen you could retrace your steps, one page at a time, back to this page. Then you could try one of the other two sites.
Don't worry about getting lost in Cyberspace. When you have clicked on a few links, disconnect and go on to Level Two of the CD-Rom. There you can learn all about the World Wide Web without being on the phone-line.
When you pass the quiz at Level Two, come back. You'll find lots more links to explore.
